In our sessions together, you'll find a safe haven to shed societal masks and embrace authenticity. We'll chat, create art, set goals, and go on deep journeys of self-discovery together. Therapy is about reclaiming joy amidst life's chaos and finding peace in vulnerability!
I specialize in supporting young adults and children with:
Parent-Child Relationships
Grief and Loss
Neurodivergent Experiences
Spiritual abuse, guilt, or fear stemming from religious upbringing
Attachment difficulties within existing relationships or when forming new relationships
Emotional and psychological wounds passed down through families
The approaches I utilize include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, Play Therapy, Collaborative and Proactive Solutions, Expressive Modalities, and Harm Reduction. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) — a technique that can be profoundly transformative in addressing trauma and fostering resilience.
As a social worker, part of my commitment to you is not only providing therapeutic support but also assisting you in accessing community resources. It's essential to recognize that many of the challenges you're facing are interconnected with the imperfect social systems and institutions we navigate daily. By centering this understanding, we can work collaboratively to address systemic barriers and empower you to navigate these systems more effectively.
Additionally, I'm an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, affirming all identities and experiences. Whether you're navigating the complexities of sexuality, gender, or relationships, or seeking solace from the scars of past trauma, I'm here to support you with empathy and understanding.
If you're intrigued and wish to explore therapy further with me, please don't hesitate to reach out!
