So, you’re considering therapy? Great! Knowing where to begin can be confusing, but not to worry; I am here to guide you through it, and it starts by trying to find the right therapist...Hi, I’m Ethan!
My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and tailored to who you are. We’ll laugh, reflect, and maybe even uncover things you didn’t know were holding you back. During sessions my focus is on you—your story, your journey, and your unique strengths. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore, grow, and thrive. Think of me as your co-pilot on this adventure. You’re in the driver’s seat, but I’m here to help navigate when things feel uncertain or overwhelming.
I work with individuals above the age of 12. Teenagers today are tasked with navigating the challenges of life while also continuing to develop their personal identity. It can be difficult to put these experiences into words, and I have found that creating space for them to identify their feelings can help them better make sense of the world around them. Additionally, adulthood often comes with its own set of struggles and challenges that I enjoy helping individuals navigate. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, increasing self-awareness, and patterns of unhealthy relationships.
Because I believe we are all experts on our own lives I primarily use a person-centered approach. I aim to meet you where you are to foster personal growth and self-discovery. I also draw from Gestalt therapy to explore the holistic connection between your thoughts, emotions, body, and environment. Together, we’ll work to deepen your awareness of the present moment and uncover patterns that may be holding you back. By integrating these approaches, I aim to empower you to navigate life’s challenges with authenticity, resilience, and balance.
When I am not being a therapist or in school, I enjoy playing pickleball, watching the latest shows or movies, and hiking. I also find joy and comfort in rewatching Ted Lasso, and I strive to live my life by one of his quotes, “Be curious not judgmental.”
I have a suggested sliding scale fee of $30-$100; you can choose what amount you are able to pay. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to schedule an appointment or a free 15-minute phone consultation today!
